Our Works
At Pangolin Aware, our mission is guided by three key pillars: research, community empowerment and public awareness. These pillars represent our core activities and areas of focus.
We believe that collaboration is essential to creating meaningful change. That is why we work closely with partners, stakeholders, and communities to implement initiatives and raise awareness about the urgent need to protect pangolins and their habitats.
Our Pillars
Our work at Pangolin Aware is built on three pillars: research, community empowerment, and public awareness.

We conduct both ecology and social science research to deepen our understanding of pangolin's behaviour, habitat, and the social and cultural drivers behind their trade and consumption. Additionally, we actively contribute to the development and improvement of translocation programmes to ensure effectiveness.
Our research provides critical insights that inform evidence-based conservation strategies and policy recommendations.

We strive to raise awareness about the importance of pangolin conservation and the treats they face. Through campaigns, events, and media outreach, we engage the public and highlight the critical role pangolins play in our ecosystems. By sharing knowledge and inspiring action, we aim to foster widespread support for pangolin protection and conservation efforts.

We empower local communities by promoting responsible environmental stewardship and providing the tools and knowledge needed for effective pangolin conservation. Through active collaboration with stakeholders, we work to build capacity for sustainable practices that protect pangolins and their habitats. By fostering a sense of shared responsibility, we aim to create lasting change at the grassroots level.
